I’m an MFA alumni of Lindenwood University—Class of 2017. During my studies I worked as an assistant editor for the Lindenwood Review. Additionally, I hold a BS in Communications and a Master’s certificate in Instructional Design & Technology. I currently live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with my son and am the Editor of Delaware Seaside Bride Magazine. My work has previously appeared online in the Story Shack and Literary Mama.
I have two novels in the works, one YA Science Fiction, and the other Literary Fiction. Most of what you’ll read here are excerpts from these two works, as well as some short stories.
I have entirely too many favorite authors to list, ranging from L. M. Montgomery to Neil Gaiman. But if I must pick just one, it would be Gene Stratton-Porter. Beloved from my childhood, her work continues to inspire and influence my writing. I am a firm believer that the Classics are not old-fashioned or irrelevant, but rather models of timeless excellence.
